Clear aligner treatment is an orthodontic option produced with 3D printers, customized for each patient, and offered as an alternative to traditional braces. Unlike conventional orthodontic treatment, it does not involve brackets or wires, making it invisible from the outside.

Although clear aligner treatment can be applied to patients of all ages, all baby teeth must have fallen out beforehand. The process begins by taking measurements with intraoral scanners. These measurements are sent to the company, and within about 1.5 months, aligners specially designed for the patient are delivered. Before treatment begins, both the treatment duration and the expected final position of the teeth are determined. A treatment completion simulation is sent to the patient via e-mail. The aligners come in a series and must be used sequentially, with each aligner replaced every 15 days. Monthly check-ups are carried out to monitor the treatment process.

Clear aligner treatment is a completely aesthetic option and does not interfere with speech or eating. The aligners must be worn for an average of 20–22 hours a day. In special cases, the aligner can be removed for 1–2 hours with the dentist’s approval. Since aligners are sensitive to heat, they should not be worn while consuming hot food or drinks.
